Originally developed by Pontiac, the 2.5L 4-cylinder Iron Duke engine was used in a variety of car models, such as the Chevy S10, Pontiac Fiero, AMC, and even the Grumman LLV mail truck! Designers built the Iron Duke to prioritize fuel efficiency, smooth operation, and long life over performance. Only making between 85-110hp, production numbers for this little 4-cylinder engine go into the millions.
